How to report an error and what happens when you do.
Report an error
Every article carries a Report an error link, or you can email aaravdey18@gmail.com directly with the article URL and what you believe is wrong. In the Neural Atlas, every relationship panel has a Report a wrong link button; those reports feed the next data refresh.
What happens next
- We check the disputed claim against the sources listed with the article and against primary documents where available.
- Confirmed errors are corrected in the article. Material corrections (ones that change the substance of the story) are noted on the article itself.
- If a claim cannot be verified either way, we soften or remove it rather than leave it standing.
Why this matters here
The Briefing's articles are produced by an automated pipeline with human oversight, as described in How The Briefing works. Automation makes some kinds of errors less likely and others more likely, which is exactly why an open corrections channel exists. We would rather fix a story than defend it.
